North Foreland Golf Course, Kent

North Foreland Golf course in Kent is sea-side golfing at its finest. Offering two cliff-top courses with stunning panoramic views of the North sea and the English channel it is a golfers dream. The course also boasts the Lighthouse Clubhouse; a brasserie and bar, a golf club shop. PGA Professionals are on hand to deliver coaching programs for all levels.

North Foreland golf club’s history dates back to 1903 when it was founded by Lord Avebury and Sir William Capel Slaughter. It is situated on the most easterly point at the Kent coast. The 6th than 13th tees both views have both the English Channel and the North Sea.

There are two courses at North Foreland and the main course measures nearly six thousand five hundred yards from the championship tees. This challenging course requires good course management, especially when there is a strong sea breeze!

The second course is the North cliff, a very challenging 18-hole par three course with fast, true greens and well placed bunkers. The course lends itself perfectly to those who want to improve their game or enjoy a quick round. North Foreland offers various memberships and our clubhouse is naturally the hub of the club, a perfect 19th hole for members and visitors alike.

The Lighthouse brasserie and the North bar are available for private functions all supported by our excellent catering team and bar staff. North Foreland offers golf, tennis and social memberships and we welcome juniors through to the more experienced players. There is a strong club environment for members as well as providing an important facility for the local community.
