Viking Bay, Broadstairs

Perched over either side of Kingsgate Bay Broadstairs is The Captain Digby Pub Broadstairs which offers a fine selection of traditional English food and stunning sea views whilst on the other side there is the impressive Kingsgate Castle which is now private flats.
Stone Bay, Broadstairs
When it comes to Broadstairs Beaches you cannot get a better beach for families than Stone Bay based just around the corner from Viking Bay Broadstairs.
Boasting a concrete promenade one is able to walk from Viking Bay through to St Mary’s Bay and then finally onto Stone Bay Broadstairs.
Stone Bay is one of Broadstairs most family orientated beaches with many choosing to have a permanent beach hut down there.
The beach has parking on the street above the cliff and also boasts toilets and a beach cafe.
Botany Bay, Broadstairs
Heading towards Margate one of the last official Broadstairs Beaches is Botany Bay. This bay has stunning white cliffs many of which have been cut into fantastic shapes which provide the perfect spot for a fantastic photo opportunity.
There are also lifeguard patrols during the summer months and this beach is popular with windsurfers, body boarders and bathers.
Botany Bay Broadstairs is also very close to the Kingsgate Hotel which offers a bear garden, hotel rooms and freshly prepared pub food.
Joss Bay, Broadstairs
Joss Bay Broadstairs is one of the best known beaches in Broadstairs and is seen by many in Kent as the jewel in the town’s crown, boasting one of the districts best surf schools a cafe and during the summer months is patrolled by life guards.
For those who are looking for a bit of adventure Joss Bay in Broadstairs offers the perfect setting for surfing, sea kayaking, body boarding and much more.
Joss Bay Broadstairs also has its own parking lot which has a number of spaces and is perfect for gazing out across the beautiful views.
Just above the beach is Broadstairs Kent’s only light house which offers passing ships warning about the cliffs. This historic spot provides a fantastic insight into Broadstairs Kent’s history.
